Video: Broncos' Locke Says 'Stuff Got Ugly on the Sideline' in Win vs. Jameis, Browns
Denver Broncos safety P.J. Locke said things got "ugly on the sideline" during Monday night's 41-32 win over Jameis Winston and the Cleveland Browns.
"Defensively, it was an ugly game for us. It was ugly," Locke told reporters after the win (h/t Denver7.) "Didn't play near to the standard all game. And when it came to putting the game away, we had some guys step up. That's just one of them games. It was testing our chemistry, testing our connection.
"Stuff got sort of ugly on the sideline, too, for a second. Our leaders had to pull everyone together, like, 'Just stay together. We're getting tested right now. There's going to be games like this. We're getting tested right now.' And we pulled it out."

The Browns were leading by two points with less than two minutes left on the clock when Winston threw a pass that was intercepted by Ja'Quan McMillian and returned for a 44-yard touchdown.
Broncos linebacker Cody Barton then picked off Winston on the final drive of the game to erase any hopes of a Browns comeback.
Winston set a Browns single-season record with 475 passing yards, the most allowed all season by the Broncos defense.
Locke finished the game with six total tackles, including one on the final drive prior to Barton's interception that helped Bo Nix and the Broncos claim victory and continue the team's late-season push for the playoffs.
The Broncos improved to 8-5 with the win and are sitting with the 8-4 Los Angeles Chargers and 8-5 Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Wild Card spots heading into Week 14.
