Video: Jets' Aaron Rodgers Reacts to Stats Declining; 'Sometimes It's My Fault'
New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers is taking responsibility for the teams' subpar statistical performance this season.
Well, sort of.
After the Jets' 26-21 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, Rodgers was asked why their numbers are down despite the quarterback being healthy enough to play this season.

"There's 11 guys on the field. Sometimes it's my fault," Rodgers said post-game, according to The Athletics' Zack Rosenblatt.
The Jets suffered their ninth loss of the season and fourth straight on Sunday, dropping to 3-9 as Rodgers threw for 185 yards, two touchdowns and one interception.
"It's disappointing. What else can you say?" Rodgers told reporters post-game. "We've had a lot of chances in these situations. A lot of these games come down to one play, whether you make it or miss it. Sometimes that play happens in the second quarter... Those plays in the second quarter cost us the game,"
Despite the team's record and the performance from Rodgers who turns 41-years-old on Monday, head coach Jeff Ulbrich said "as of today," he is not considering a quarterback change., according to The Athletic's Connor Hughes.
Rodgers was also noncommittal when asked if he expects the team to make a change at his position.
"Yeah, I don't know," Rodgers said, per Hughes. "We'll figure that out when we have those conversations."
Rodgers is averaging just 222 yards per game, his second-lowest average in his career when starting seven or more games. Unsurprisingly, Rodgers is also averaging a career-low 4.5 rushing yards per game, as it's becoming clear that he "doesn't want to take big hits anymore," as Seahawks defender Leonard Williams told reporters.
Whether Rodgers is solely to blame for the Jets' struggles this season is up for debate. As a team, they have struggled to gain offensive yards, ranking fourth-to-last in total yards and second-to-last in rushing yards.
