Early National Signing Day 2024: Top Uncommitted Football Recruits to Watch
The early college football signing window opens up on Wednesday.
A majority of the top recruits in the class of 2025 have made their college choices, including top-ranked quarterback Bryce Underwood to Michigan.
However, there are still a few top-100 players still waiting to make their respective decisions.
Top Uncommitted Recruits to Watch
Justus Terry, DL, Manchester HS (GA)
Justus Terry is the only top-10 recruit on the 247Sports class of 2025 player rankings to not have a firm commitment for next season.
The No. 9 player in the class of 2025 is likely headed to the Georgia Bulldogs, who already have commitments from a pair of top-10 players.
Georgia is considered the favorite to land the in-state defensive lineman. The Bulldogs already have verbal pledges from 21 players from within their own state.
Kirby Smart's program currently sits on top of the 247 team rankings ahead of the Alabama Crimson Tide. Both programs are no strangers to those positions in the rankings.
If UGA lands Terry, it would have four five-star commits from the state of Georgia, all of whom play defense.
Michael Terry III, ATH, Alamo Heights HS (TX)
The Texas Longhorns are considered the favorite to land five-star athlete Michael Terry III.
Like Georgia, Texas has been control of the recruits inside its own state.
The Longhorns already landed verbal commits from two five-star players from Texas. Terry would add a third player to that list.
Terry is the highest-rated athlete in the class of 2025 and he's the only player in the top 10 at his position to not at least make a verbal pledge yet.
Isaiah Campbell, DL, Southern HS (NC)
Isaiah Campbell decommitted from the Clemson Tigers in September.
The No. 34 overall prospect will announce his decision on Wednesday. He is expected to choose between the Tennessee Volunteers and North Carolina Tar Heels.
While staying at home is always intriguing to recruits, Campbell might not be intrigued to choose UNC at the moment because the Tar Heels just fired head coach Mack Brown.
Tennessee holds the coaching upper hand on UNC with Josh Heupel firmly in place. The addition of Campbell would give the Vols' overall recruiting class a boost.
The Vols currently sit seventh in the 247 team rankings and have only landed a commitment from one top-50 player.
