Week 12 Fantasy Football Rankings: Flex and PPR Outlook for Each Position
Fellow fantasy football-ers, welcome to crunch time.
While NFL teams still have a little time to get their seasons straightened out, fantasy managers don't share that luxury. Most have, at most, a couple more weeks to get their playoff spot secured, and some likely face now-or-never stakes in Week 12.
Let's try to get your flex spots in the best shape, then, by running through our rankings and top sleeper at the three positions used to fill that spot.
Running Back

Sleeper: Ameer Abdullah, LV (vs. DEN)
Admittedly, this matchup isn't great, and neither is this Raiders offense. Sometimes, none of that matters, though. Opportunity can be everything in fantasy, and Abdullah's could be awesome.
With both Alexander Mattison (ankle) and Zamir White (quad) doubtful to play, this backfield might belong to Abdullah. Even if shares carries with rookie sixth-rounder Dylan Laube, Abdullah should get the bulk of chances in the passing game. He has turned 20 targets into 17 receptions for 76 yards and a score on the season and hauled in all six passes sent his way over his last two outings.
Wide Receiver

16. Mike Evans, TB (at NYG)
17. Jauan Jennings, SF (at GB)
18. Jayden Reed, GB (vs. SF)
19. Zay Flowers, BAL (at LAC)
20. Josh Downs, IND (vs. DET)
Sleeper: Jameson Williams, DET (at IND)
Points could pile up early and often in this game. Williams has a real chance to be involved with at least some of the scoring.
The explosive receiver has averaged a whopping 22.4 yards on his 24 receptions, four of which have gone for scores. Detroit has even found five rushing opportunities for him in an attempt to tap further into his playmaking. He just had one of his best games of the campaign (four receptions for 124 yards and a touchdown), and there's a non-zero chance he'll follow up with something even better.
Tight End
3 of 3
Top 10
1. Travis Kelce, KC (at CAR)
2. Brock Bowers, LV (vs. DEN)
3. George Kittle, SF (at GB)
4. Cade Otton, TB (at NYG)
5. Trey McBride, ARI (at SEA)
6. Hunter Henry, NE (at MIA)
7. Dallas Goedert, PHI (at LAR)
8. Will Dissly, LAC (vs. BAL)
9. Jonnu Smith, MIA (vs. NE)
10. T.J. Hockenson, MIN (at CHI)
Sleeper: Zach Ertz, WAS (vs. DAL)
If you're looking for streamers at tight end, you're just looking for the best bet on volume you can find. It's hard to do much better on that front than you can with Ertz, who's had seven-plus targets in three of his last four outings and five-plus targets in six of his last seven.
Over his last five games, he is averaging 4.4 receptions for 40 yards. He has two touchdowns during this stretch. These aren't blow-you-away type of numbers, but for a streaming tight end, they're fine, especially considering he has a chance to outperform them in a favorable matchup with Dallas.
