Jason Kelce is expanding his media portfolio as part of ESPN's NFL coverage during the playoffs.

Kelce explained that guests on the show will include legends of the NFL, players he shared the field with during his career, coaches and celebrities.

Per ESPN's official press release, the late-night talk show will air for five weeks to coincide with the final weekend of the NFL regular season and most of the playoffs.

The title of the show is an homage to the first full length film from NFL Films titled They Call it Pro Football that was released in 1967.

They Call it Pro Football was added to the National Film Registry of the Library of Congress in 2012 for its historical significance, primarily for helping to establish the visual style that is still employed in football television broadcasts today.

The show will be filmed at Union Transfer concert hall in Philadelphia and is described as an "immersive experience" that will showcase Kelce's "oversized personality and infectious humor mixed with celebrity guests from the football world and beyond, in front of a live audience of NFL fans."

ESPN will air the first four episodes at 1 a.m. ET on Jan. 4, with the finale airing at 1:30 a.m. ET on Feb. 1. Repeats of the show will be broadcast on ESPN2 throughout the week, while also being available on streaming via ESPN+, the ESPN YouTube channel and Kelce's YouTube channels.

Philadelphia-based band SNACKTIME will serve as the house musical act for Kelce's show.

The premiere episode will drop the weekend of Week 18, with subsequent episodes airing through the conference championship games. The final episode will air the weekend of the 2025 Pro Bowl Games.

Kelce has become a media mogul since even before the end of his NFL career. He has co-hosted the New Heights podcast with his brother, Travis Kelce, since September 2022.

After retiring from the NFL at the end of the 2023 season, Kelce joined ESPN as an NFL analyst on the Monday Night Countdown crew.
