The Professional Women's Hockey League officially unveiled the home and away uniforms for all six of its franchises Thursday.

The Boston Fleet, Minnesota Frost, Montreal Victoire, New York Sirens, Ottawa Charge and Toronto Sceptres all showed off their new looks ahead of the 2024-25 season:

Last year marked the PWHL's inaugural campaign, but all six teams had something of a bare-bones look and presentation since there wasn't enough time to get everything done properly.

Per ESPN's Greg Wyshynski, the teams had neither logos nor names, as they simply went by the name of the city they played in.

The names and logos were finally unveiled in September, though, and now each team has a unique uniform combination to go along with it.

The PWHL was officially founded last year by the Professional Women's Hockey Players' Association and the Mark Walter Group and BJK Enterprises, which is led by Los Angeles Dodgers owner Mark Walter and tennis legend Billie Jean King.

To get the league off the ground quickly, the PWHL purchased the assets of the previous top professional women's hockey league in the Premier Hockey Federation, and by January 2023, the inaugural season was underway.

Led by playoff MVP Taylor Heise, as well as the goalie combo of Maddie Rooney and Nicole Hensley, Minnesota won the first PWHL championship, beating Boston in the finals.

Many of the top women's hockey players in the world, particularly those from the United States and Canada, play in the PWHL, including Natalie Spooner, Sarah Nurse, Marie-Philip Poulin and Hilary Knight.

While the first season was largely heralded as a success with a per-game attendance of 5,448, the pieces are in place for the PWHL to take another big leap forward during the 2024-25 season.

Every team now having its own look and identity should be a significant help to the branding of the league, as it will be able to sell more jerseys and merchandise, and compel fans to truly support their teams.

The second season will officially start later this month on Nov. 30 with Boston facing Toronto and Ottawa taking on Montreal.
