Raiders' Antonio Pierce Undecided on Minshew or Ridder as QB1 vs. Tua, Dolphins
As the Las Vegas Raiders enter a Week 10 bye, the team's starting quarterback moving forward is uncertain.
Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce revealed that he hasn't decided on a first-string signal-caller to suit up against the Miami Dolphins on Nov. 17, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Gardner Minshew started in Las Vegas' 41-24 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, but he was replaced under center by Desmond Ridder in the third quarter of the game.

Minshew couldn't consistently sustain drives against Cincinnati, with the Raiders only able to score 10 points by the time he exited the contest. He finished 10-of-17 for 124 yards without recording a touchdown or an interception.
Ridder also struggled before leading Las Vegas on a late touchdown drive with just under a minute remaining in the fourth quarter. He completed 11 of his 16 pass attempts for 74 yards and a score, losing a fumble.
Pierce admitted that he was impressed with Ridder after the game, though.
"We didn't get to see the athleticism until late, but you did get to see that, see him move around in the pocket, see the strong arm," Pierce said, per ESPN's Paul Gutierrez. "Again, he's 10 days in the building, but I thought, obviously, he's competing."
Ridder, who started 13 games for the Atlanta Falcons last season, was signed by the Raiders on Oct. 21 after quarterback Aidan O'Connell suffered a fractured thumb.
O'Connell initially supplanted Minshew under center in Week 6, but the injury and subsequent injured reserve placement caused Pierce to use his original starting quarterback once again.
After Sunday's loss resulted in the firing of offensive coordinator Luke Getsy, another change could be coming to the Raiders' offense after their bye week.
