
Saints' Chris Olave Considering Wearing Guardian Cap After Suffering Concussion
New Orleans Saints wide receiver Chris Olave told reporters Thursday that he's considering wearing a Guardian Cap after suffering a concussion on Oct. 13 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
"I'm still considering it. I was considering last game, ended up going with the regular helmet," Olave said, per ESPN's Katherine Terrell.
Olave notably was seen wearing a Guardian Cap Wednesday.

The former Ohio State star has been in the NFL for three seasons. He's amassed 31 catches for 387 yards and one score this year.
Unfortunately, has suffered three diagnosed concussions during his NFL career, per Terrell, with one in each of his NFL campaigns.
Obviously, the Saints need their No. 1 wideout healthy as he's a focal point of the pass game. And the season has slipped away at 2-6, so a healthy Olave could go a long way toward a second-half turnaround.
Wearing the Guardian Cap could certainly be beneficial. According to the NFL, the cap's usage has reduced concussions by 52 percent.
Olave is still considering wearing it, per Terrell.
We'll soon find out what he goes with the Saints' road game against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday looming. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET.
