Dak Prescott: Cowboys' Loss to 49ers Is 'Frustrating But... Nobody Is Shook'
Dallas Cowboys star Dak Prescott isn't reaching for the panic button after the team dropped to 3-4 thanks to Sunday's 30-24 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
"We know what it takes in this league. You got hot, you get rolling, that's all you're looking to do," he told reporters after the game. "That's my point, that this is frustrating but nobody is giving up. Nobody is shook, as you can say, from where we're at. We just got to focus up, get ready to go on the road and got another good team coming up and do whatever we can do make sure we come out with a victory. Get even. Then worry about after that after this next road game."

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮
It's true the Cowboys could theoretically reel off a long winning streak that eases all of the fears they've generated during their underwhelming start. There isn't a lot of evidence pointing to that happening, though.
Dallas had an extra week to prepare and allowed 469 yards to a 49ers offense that's missing running back Christian McCaffrey and wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk. Wideout Deebo Samuel and tight end George Kittle were playing at less than 100 percent since they were both listed as questionable right up until game day.
Ezekiel Elliott and Dalvin Cook combined to run for 46 yards on 16 carries, while Prescott threw two interceptions and averaged 6.4 passing yards on his 38 attempts.
The longer this season goes on, the more you reach an inescapable conclusion about the Cowboys. They're a middling team whose offseason inactivity allowed them get passed by their NFC rivals.
Normally Dallas isn't exposed like this until the postseason. It's just happening much earlier this year.
The thing with the Cowboys is that many of the problems they have right now were foreseeable.
Making head coach Mike McCarthy a lame duck was an odd decision. An adequate replacement for leading rusher Tony Pollard wasn't found and now the team has the NFL's worst rushing attack. The passing game is still far too reliant on CeeDee Lamb. In retrosepct, maybe we should've looked more at Dallas having a fairly pedestrian run defense.
Maybe it's time for the Cowboys players to get "shook" because they need to do something to snap out of their funk.
