Raiders' Brock Bowers, Browns' Jerry Jeudy Fantasy Outlook After Adams, Cooper Trades
Tuesday was a busy day on the transaction wire.
Davante Adams ended up on the New York Jets. Amari Cooper is now with the Buffalo Bills. And football fans who have fantasy-relevant players remaining on the Las Vegas Raiders and Cleveland Browns are left wondering how those deals impact them going forward.
Brock Bowers fans, rejoice!

Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮
The rookie was already one of the most valuable tight ends in fantasy, with four weeks of double-digit scoring in PPR formats across the first six weeks. He's currently the TE2, ranking first at the position in receptions (38), yards (384) and targets (46), and if the touchdown production eventually follows (just one on the season), he'll be the most valuable player on the season.
In the past two weeks alone without Adams, he caught 17 passes for 168 yards and a touchdown on 22 targets. Bowers was already a locked and loaded TE1. Now, he's a strong candidate to finish as the top player at the position.
Jakobi Meyers gets an obvious bump as the top option on the team at wideout. In his last two games without Adams, he had 11 catches for 121 yards on 19 targets. In the first three weeks of the season with Adams on the field, Meyers went for 14 receptions, 152 yards and a touchdown on 17 targets.
He's still only a flex consideration, given Las Vegas' lackluster quarterback situation, but as the bye weeks heat up, he'll be a nice option to have at your disposal.
As for Jerry Jeudy, Cooper's departure doesn't change the fact that Deshaun Watson is objectively terrible. But having one less target to compete with should help his fantasy value.
Consider that with Cooper, David Njoku and Jeudy all healthy in Weeks 1, 5 and 6, Jeudy caught five passes for 60 yards and a touchdown on 14 targets. While Njoku was out of action in Weeks 2-4, Jeudy had 15 catches for 172 yards on 22 targets.
It's clear he was the No. 3 option for Watson while Cooper was on the roster and Njoku was healthy. With Cooper gone, Jeudy will be a top-two option for the flailing Watson. That still makes him a highly risky flex option, but he will see his usage increase.
