Cowboys' Dak Prescott Reveals What He Did in Unforgettable Weather Delay vs. Steelers
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott knew the lengthy lightning delay before Sunday's 20-17 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers would be something he and his teammates will remember for a long time. So they might as well make the most of it.
"I was saying it before the game started, like we're not going to forget this one regardless," he said, per ESPN's Todd Archer. "With the delays, with everything that happened, it's one of those games I don't care how long you play, you'll never forget it. I just kept saying, 'Let's make it one to remember.' I think we did that in all the ups, the downs, the ebbs and flows."

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The game was originally supposed to kick off at 8:15 p.m. ET but didn't get started until 9:45 p.m.
That presented the players with a lot of unexpected downtime. Maintaining their usual focus and staying physically ready in the locker room for that long can be a challenge. According to Archer, Prescott "ate a protein waffle, stretched and did some drills" as he waited.
The three-time Pro Bowler had a pair of interceptions, including one inside the red zone toward the end of the first half. But he also threw for 352 yards and two touchdowns and marched the offense down the field for the go-ahead score, a four-yard TD pass to wide receiver Jalen Tolbert.
While Prescott didn't have a perfect performance, he stepped up when he needed to.
Securing a last-minute victory over a longtime rival in a lightning game is one of those nights that could go down in Cowboys lore.
