Stefon Diggs: Texans' Win Over Bills 'Meant a Lot to Me' After Offseason Trade
The Buffalo Bills traded star receiver Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans this offseason. That made Houston's 23-20 win over the Bills on Sunday just a little bit sweeter.
"Honestly, it meant a lot to me," he told reporters about getting the win. "Held it in the whole week, energy-wise, tried not to bring it up too much. I just tried to keep it professional, but obviously in the back of my mind it meant a lot to me. Wanted to do more showing than telling."

Diggs played a big part in the victory, registering six catches for 82 yards on eight targets. That was all the more important when his running mate at wideout, star Nico Collins, was forced to leave the game and didn't return with a hamstring issue.
Meanwhile, Buffalo receivers combined to catch just four passes for 80 yards on the afternoon. The Bills didn't look as though they would miss Diggs after a 3-0 start, but consecutive losses and Sunday's performance have told a different tale.
As for Diggs, he was definitely circling this meeting on his calendar.
"I play with a lot of passion and a lot of love. I can't say I didn't think about this game when I got traded. Wondered if we played them, and then obviously it was on the schedule," he told reporters. "I take it one game at a time, and I knew when this game came about, I was just trying to take advantage and get a win for my team. Obviously it's emotional, I play with a lot of emotions."
The Texans, meanwhile, have moved to 4-1 on the season and look like genuine contenders in the AFC. Up next will be a matchup against the hapless New England Patriots, a team Diggs has seen plenty of in his career.
