WNBA Style Rankings: Aces, Storm, Sparks Fly in the Fashion Game as Playoffs Near
Welcome to the last WNBA style rankings of the regular season, and what a regular season of style it was. In one of the most exciting, momentous seasons for women's basketball, the players have been rising to the occasion everywhere, including the pregame runway.
One thing has been clear from the start: If the W is going to enjoy unprecedented success, the players are going to usher it in while respecting the game's history, staying true to themselves and maintaining the personal flares that have always been a hallmark of this league.
As we gear up for some elevated playoff fashion, let's take a look at some of the best pregame fits from the second half of the season. Per usual, it was ridiculously hard to narrow down.
10. Kahleah Copper, Phoenix Mercury
1 of 10
Kahleah Copper's fits are as effortlessly cool as her play, and that's saying something if you've watched her at all this season throughout league play and at the Olympics. It's been a great year for Copper all around, and her style certainly reflected that.
9. Rae Burrell, Los Angeles Sparks
2 of 10
Rae Burrell's flower ensemble here is equal parts gorgeous and creative.
The asymmetry is striking, and you wouldn't expect asymmetry to make something cohesive, but somehow it does just that for the undershirt and the jacket. They're uniform in their un-uniformness, and it's one of the most interesting to look at but still classically stunning 'fits of the season.
8. Jordan Horston, Seattle Storm
3 of 10
Seattle's Jordan Horston has become one of my favorite style go-tos. Horston's got a lot of fresh takes on current trends that are often featuring fun pops of color and a lot of personality:
7. Tina Charles, Atlanta Dream
4 of 10
Atlanta's Tina Charles rarely does anything particularly "out there" or risky with her outfits, but every time I see her, I think to myself: "This is such a vibe. What's the secret sauce?"
Whenever I find myself thinking like that about an outfit, I know there's some good tailoring going on. Below, you'll find several examples of Charles wearing pretty different outfits that all seem to have "the sauce."
When in doubt, good tailoring is going to beat out flash 11 out of 10 times.
6. Dijonai Carrington, Connecticut Sun
5 of 10
Whether it's a boot moment or an on-court sneaker, Dijonai Carrington has one of the best and most versatile shoe games in the league.

She's also one of the best at adding her unique flare to current trends, and her outfits are just fun. Bring back fun fashion!
5. Skylar Diggins-Smith, Seattle Storm
6 of 10
Last Style Rankings' No. 1 "dropped" to No. 4 this time around, but "Fly" Diggins-Smith remains fly as ever. In a league with such style diversity and so many consistent heavy hitters on the pregame runway, a consecutive top five ranking means you're the best of the best.
Diggins-Smith brings so much creativity and an ability to rock all kinds of vibes.
4. Nika Mühl, Seattle Storm
7 of 10
Storm rookie Nika Mühl isn't getting much time on the court in her first year as a pro, but we're glad it hasn't stopped her from showing up to the games in iconic fit after iconic fit.
I'm loving these longer, leather moments as fall is rolling around. No matter what season it is, you can catch Mühl with two things: sunglasses and confidence.
3. Rickea Jackson, Los Angeles Sparks
8 of 10
Rickea Jackson is having a brilliant rookie season on and off the court. The Tennessee alum is averaging 12.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game for the Los Angeles Sparks, and that's including the beginning of the season when she was averaging significantly fewer minutes.
As her game has taken off on the court, she's honed a distinct edgy style with the pregame outfits.
I know a microskirt and a thigh-high boot hate to see her coming!
2. Sydney Colson, Las Vegas Aces
9 of 10
For the first time in Bleacher Report Style Rankings history, a suit has left me utterly speechless.
This suit, the detailing, the swagger, would've been enough to land Sydney Colson in the top three on its own, but spoiler alert: She's been throwing fit after fit like a toddler these days. Looking forward to what she has in store for the playoffs.
1. Tiffany Hayes, Las Vegas Aces
10 of 10
We are all entitled to our own opinions. Mine is that the turf shorts go crazy.

In all seriousness, no one in the W, and few people on an actual runway, are doing interesting textures and concepts quite as well as the Aces' Tiffany Hayes is right now.
Another recent favorite of mine:
What sets Hayes apart is that it's not just about one unique texture, but her fits are generally multiple textures and concepts mashed together in a way that screams "fashion authority" and just work.
When she isn't pushing the boundaries in that way, there's always something else interesting going on, but it never feels forced. The concept below feels clean when something like this could easily get too chaotic, and the pops of yellow are so satisfying without dominating the look.
Above all else, Hayes' tailoring is consistently exquisite. She toes the line of the contemporary trends in a way that makes them her own and pushes boundaries—texture, tailoring, gender and more—with authenticity. Hayes does routine fit checks on her TikTok account if you want to check it out.
