Bold Predictions for Jets' Individual Stat Leaders in 2024 NFL Season
The New York Jets expect to have Aaron Rodgers, Breece Hall and Garrett Wilson in contention to lead the NFL in their respective stat categories.
Rodgers is a 10-time 4,000-yard passer, Wilson is a two-time 1,000-yard receiver and Hall was six yards away from his first 1,000-yard campaign in 2023.
However, the Jets may some difficulties to get Rodgers into the echelon of top passers in the NFL in 2024.
Rodgers has not yet played since the Achilles injury that took him out in Week 1 of 2023 and there are questions regarding the pass-catching talent beneath Wilson on the depth chart.
Hall is arguably the most important player to the offense's success, and he could be in for one of the largest statistical increases among NFL running backs.
Aaron Rodgers Fails to Reach 4,000 Passing Yards

Everything may have to be perfect for Rodgers to hit the 4,000-yard mark through the air in 2024.
Rodgers first has to deal with the potential limitations he may feel in the pocket during the opening few weeks of the season.
The former Green Bay Packers quarterback could have his mobility slowed because he does not have 100 percent trust in his body at full game speed.
Rodgers has not tested his healed Achilles at the game level and that could come back to hurt him and Jets in September.
Any offensive slow down will take away the chance to hit the 4,000-yard mark and that includes the lack of firepower behind Wilson.
Mike Williams is a solid addition, but he has had injury issues in the past and there's no guarantee he stays healthy for 18 games.
Xavier Gipson, Tyler Conklin and Malachi Corley are all decent depth options to happen, but none of them will carry Rodgers to the 4,000-yard mark like Wilson can.
Breece Hall Challenges for NFL Rushing Yard Lead
2 of 3
The Jets are going to have a heavy reliance on Hall in the ground game.
Hall carried the ball on 223 occasions for 994 yards in 2023. An increase to the 1,000-yard club is the minimum expectation in 2024.
Hall could shoulder more of the offensive load in September while Rodgers works back to full comfortability in the pocket.
The Jets face three easier opponents in the Tennessee Titans, New England Patriots and Denver Broncos following their opener against the San Francisco 49ers.
Hall can use those three games to set a high standard in the ground game and showcase why he will not just hit the 1,000-yard mark, but soar past it and potentially contend for the league lead in rushing yards.
Garrett Wilson Sets Career High in Receiving Yards
3 of 3
Wilson has to hit the 1,000-yard mark for the Jets passing offense to be successful.
A healthy Williams will help spread out the catches among Jets players in certain games, but when Rodgers needs someone to make a big catch, it will be the third-year man out of Ohio State.
Wilson owns 2,145 receiving yards off 178 catches in his young NFL career.
He increased his receptions total by 12 last season, but his yardage total dipped because of the limitations of the Jets backup quarterbacks.
A third straight 1,000-yard season is the minimum expectation for Wilson, and given how strong his connection with Rodgers could be, he has the potential to get close to the 1,500-yard mark and set a career high in that category by a wide margin.
