
Vikings' Jordan Addison Carted Off with Ankle Injury; Reportedly Not 'Serious'
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison was carted off from Wednesday's practice with an ankle injury.
Addison went down along the sideline after leaping for a contested ball, according to The Athletic's Alec Lewis. He was helped off the field by trainers before leaving on a cart.
According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, the "initial belief" is that Addison's injury "is not serious."

Addison is heading into his second season with the Vikings and is expected to serve as a top target for quarterback Sam Darnold.

Last season, he totaled 70 catches for 911 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns, stepping up when All-Pro wideout Justin Jefferson was injured.
Addison was arrested in California on July 12 and charged with driving under the influence three weeks later.
ESPN's Dan Graziano has reported that the Vikings "anticipate" Addison will be suspended by the NFL once those legal proceedings are over. But as Addison is not set to offer a plea until Oct. 7, the Vikings expect to have him with the team for the start of the 2024 regular season, according to Graziano.
Darnold entered the offseason as a potential bridge quarterback for the franchise after spending the No. 10 pick on J.J. McCarthy, but the Vikings announced earlier Wednesday that the rookie signal-caller would miss his entire rookie season after undergoing surgery for a torn meniscus.
