Video: Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb Surprises Fan at Fantasy Football Draft After No. 1 Pick
Amid his ongoing contract holdout with the Dallas Cowboys, CeeDee Lamb took advantage of all the free time he has to surprise fans during a recent fantasy football draft.
Lamb decided to Zoom into the draft after one of the players selected him with the No. 1 overall pick.

The fan's decision to use the top overall pick in the draft on Lamb comes with some risk. If the holdout drags into the regular season, Lamb may not be on the field for some games.
It's rare that a holdout gets that far because players don't want to miss game checks, but it does happen. In 2018, Le'Veon Bell held out for the entire season before signing with the New York Jets in 2019.
Lamb recently made headlines for his comment on X in response to Cowboys owner Jerry Jones saying he doesn't "have any urgency" to work out a new contract with the All-Pro receiver.
Jones attempted to make up for that comment during the Cowboys' pregame show before their preseason contest against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday (h/t ESPN's Todd Archer):
"Now I understand completely the angst that's happening when you're anxious about and someone says anything about whether you're missed or not. Well, CeeDee, you're missed, OK? But you're not missed out here competing and it doesn't put any pressure any place on us."
Lamb is one of several high-profile receivers embroiled in a contract standoff with their current team. Brandon Aiyuk has been trying to find a solution to his situation with the San Francisco 49ers for months. Ja'Marr Chase went from being a hold-in at Cincinnati Bengals' training camp to potentially holding out after not being present at Tuesday's practice.
Fantasy players are keeping a close eye on all three of those situations, but at least one person felt confident enough that Lamb will be with the Cowboys when the games really count.
If Lamb does play a full season, it's hard to argue against him being a good No. 1 overall pick. The 25-year-old finished second among all players in PPR scoring last season after leading the NFL with 135 receptions, ranking second with 1,749 receiving yards and third with 12 touchdown receptions.
