Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮
The 32-year-old hasn't appeared in a regular-season NFL game since 2018.
Bryant started his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers after he was selected by the team with a fourth-round pick during the 2014 draft. He hauled in 76 catches for 1,314 yards and 14 touchdowns throughout his first two seasons.
He missed the 2016 season due to a suspension for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. Bryant returned to play with the Steelers and Raiders before he was suspended indefinitely in 2018 for violating the terms of the conditional reinstatement from his previous ban.
The former Clemson standout was reinstated ahead of the 2023 season before joining the Cowboys on their practice squad. Commanders head coach Dan Quinn served as Dallas' defensive coordinator last season and could be willing to give Bryant another chance.
The wideout appeared in the XFL during the league's 2023 season, recording 14 catches for 154 yards in eight games with the Vegas Vipers.
If he's signed by Washington, Bryant will likely serve as a depth option behind starters Terry McLaurin, Jahan Dotson, and Luke McCaffrey.
As the Commanders enter the 2024 season with rookie Jayden Daniels starting under center, they could add a veteran to his receiving corps if Bryant's upcoming workout is successful.
