
Olympic Wrestling 2024: Medal Winners, Scores and Results from Saturday's Bracket
Medals were issued to deserving wrestlers during Olympic competition on Saturday.
Twelve total medals were issued across three events, the men's freestyle 74kg, men's freestyle 125kg and the women's freestyle 62kg. Each event had two bronze medalists, one silver and one gold medalist.
Uzbekistan, Japan, the United States, Albania and many others saw increases to the medal count from the day's action.

Saturday Medal Winners
Men's Freestyle 74kg
Gold: Razambek Salambekovitch Jamaloc, Uzbekistan
Silver: Takatani Daichi, Japan
Bronze: Kyle Dake, USA
Bronze: Chermen Valiev, Albania
The only American to medal during Saturday's wrestling slate was Kyle Dake, who took one of the bronzes with a 10-4 victory Serbia's Hetik Cabolov.
This was his second consecutive bronze medal.
Uzbekistan's Razambek Salambekovitch Jamaloc took home the gold with a 5-0 victory over Japan's Takatani Daichi. This was Jamaloc's first Olympic medal.
Men's Freestyle 125kg
Gold: Geno Petriashvili, Georgia
Silver: Amir Hossein Zare, Iran
Bronze: Taha Akgul, Türkiye
Bronze: Giorigi Meshvildishvili, Azerbaijan
Geno Petriashvili has finally reached the mountaintop.
The Georgian wrestler won the bronze in 2016 and silver in 2020 but was finally able to get over the hump and claim the gold with a 10-9 win over Iran's Amir Hossein Zare.
This was Petriashvili's 19th overall gold medal in international competition, but the shine of it being an Olympic medal should add some extra value.
Women's Freestyle 62kg
Gold: Motoki Sakura, Japan
Silver: Iryna Koliadenko, Ukraine
Bronze: Grace Jacob Bullen, Norway
Bronze: Aisuluu Tynybekova, Kyrgyzstan
A rising Japanese star has earned her gold.
Motoki Sakura, 22, took home the gold in the 62kg division with a 12-1 victory over Ukraine's Iryna Koliadenko. This was her first Olympic medal and it comes after she took home a silver in the event at the 2023 World Championships.
She will now look to build on this hot start to her career as she looks to follow the standard set by fellow countrywoman Kaori Icho, who won four consecutive gold medals between 2004-2016.
