NFL Rumors: Puka Nacua 'Week-to-Week'; Knee Injury 'Not Serious' for Rams WR
Los Angeles Rams star wide receiver Puka Nacua is considered "week-to-week" with a knee injury, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Schefter also noted that one source described the injury as "not serious," as the Rams could take a cautious approach with the Pro Bowl pass-catcher throughout preseason.
Nacua left practice early on Sunday following a team drills period, per Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic. He returned to the sideline with a bag of ice on his right knee and did not participate in the rest of practice.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮
Los Angeles has dealt with several injuries throughout training camp, with the 23-year-old representing the latest starter to go down.
Cornerback Darious Williams suffered a hamstring strain on July 25, while tackle Rob Havenstein sustained an ankle injury on Thursday. Left tackle Alaric Jackson and left guard Jonah Jackson are also dealing with ankle and shoulder injuries of their own, respectively.
The reported low severity of Nacua's injury seems to be a promising sign that he could be ready to play by the time Los Angeles' Week 1 matchup against the Detroit Lions rolls around on Sept. 8.
The former fifth-round pick stayed relatively healthy throughout his 2023 campaign, appearing in all 17 regular-season contests as well as the team's lone playoff game. He's coming off a tremendous inaugural season, finishing No. 2 in Offensive Rookie of the Year voting.
Nacua hauled in 105 receptions for 1,486 yards, with both marks representing new rookie records. He found the end zone six times, adding another 89 yards on the ground. Despite the Rams' wild card defeat against the Lions, the former BYU standout set a rookie playoff record with 181 receiving yards on nine catches.
While Nacua likely won't be a major preseason contributor for Los Angeles even if he's able to return before the regular season, he could come back in time to help the Rams as they attempt to secure consecutive playoff appearances.
