Steelers to Induct Casey Hampton, Dick LeBeau, Gildon, Parker into Hall of Honor
The Pittsburgh Steelers will be welcoming four members into their Hall of Honor Class of 2024.
Three players (nose tackle Casey Hampton, running back Willie Parker and linebacker Jason Gildon) and one coach (defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau) will be in Pittsburgh for the official welcome when the Steelers host the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, Dec. 8, when an on-field presentation will take place.
Hampton, a five-time Pro Bowler, played his entire 12-year career (2001-2012) with the Steelers, winning Super Bowls to cap the 2005 and 2008 campaigns. Thanks in part to Hampton, the Steelers allowed the fewest points per game in four of his 12 seasons. The stout run-stopper finished his career with 398 tackles (231 solo).

Parker, a two-time Pro Bowler, played all six of his NFL seasons (2004-2009) in Pittsburgh, rushing for 5,378 yards and 24 scores. Like Hampton, Parker is also a two-time Super Bowl champion, and his best on-field moment came in Super Bowl XL, when he rushed for a 75-yard touchdown in a 21-10 win over the Seattle Seahawks.
Gildon played 10 of his 11 seasons (1994-2004) in Pittsburgh, earning Pro Bowl honors from 2000-2002. He finished his career with 80 sacks and 519 tackles and earned First Team All-Pro honors in 2001. Gildon led or co-led the Steelers in sacks from 1998-2002, amassing a high of 13.5 in 2020. Pittsburgh made the AFC Championship four times during his stint, winning once.
LeBeau was the Steelers' defensive coordinator in 1995 and 1996 and again from 2004-2014. Under his watch, the Steelers won four AFC titles and two Super Bowls. The Steelers allowed the fewest yards per game on five occasions and the fewest points per game on four. In 10 of LeBeau's 13 seasons, the Steelers were top five in fewest yards allowed per game.
