NBC Olympics Schedule 2024: Full TV Coverage, Live Stream for Summer Events
While some events have already taken place, the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris will officially kick off on Friday with the opening ceremony. Between now and August 11, many of the world's best athletes will battle for the ultimate prize in individual and team sports.
Keeping up with all of the Summer Games action will, however, be a challenge. Paris and its surrounding sites will play host to a whipping 329 medal events, most of which will be decided across multiple days.
A complete events schedule can be found at Olympics.com, so finding a specific event or match should be fairly straightforward. However, there will be literally dozens of events taking place each day, many of them running simultaneously.
Here's a look at everything you need to know to track the action at the Paris Summer Olympics.

Summer Games Preview
2 of 3
Due to the length and timing involved with some tournament-style events, competition for sports like football (soccer), rugby sevens handball and archery have already gotten underway.
However, things will officially begin with the opening ceremony, which is scheduled to kick off at 1:30 p.m. ET on Friday. While full details about the ceremony have been shrouded in mystery, Lada Gaga is scheduled to perform, according to Carly Thomas of the Hollywood Reporter.
Competition will resume on Saturday with each day featuring a full slate that will begin in the early a.m. in America and run through the late afternoon. The 2024 Games will bring the debut breaking competition and mark the return of newer events like skateboarding, sport climbing and surfing that debuted at the Tokyo Games.
However, traditional summer sports like football, basketball, gymnastics and aquatics are likely to remain the top draws.
The United States will be looking to lead the medal count for the eighth-straight Summer Games and should fare well in several sports. However, American fans may be tracking a few big storylines.
Gymnast Simone Biles is looking to add to her collection of 37 Olympic and World Championship medals and to break a tie with Shannon Miller for the most Olympic medals won by an American gymnast (seven).
Biles also arrived in Paris as one of the most recognized athletes in the world.
"[Tennis star] Coco Gauff said meeting the U.S. women's gymnastics team, including Simone Biles, in the Olympic village has been a highlight of her experience," Danielle Lerner of the Houston Chronicle posted on X. "So was meeting Katie Ledecky."
Ledecky is an Olympic legend in her own right, having won a record six individual gold medals in women's swimming. With seven Olympic golds and 21 world championship gold medals, she is one of the most decorated swimmers in history and can add to her trophy case in the coming weeks.
Then, there's Team USA men's basketball, headlined by LeBron James, Jayson Tatum, Stephen Curry and other NBA stars. While the American 5-on-5 team—3-on-3 basketball is a separate event—is widely expected to win gold, close calls during exhibition play have left some doubt.
"I've learned we're beatable if we don't execute the details of what teams know they have to do to beat us—the extra possessions, not taking care of the ball, fouling too much," Curry said after a 92-88 win over Germany, per Tom Dierberger of SI.com.
Curry and Co. will see their first meaningful game on Sunday against Serbia.
While broadcast coverage in the United States will be scattered across networks like NBC, USA, E! and Telemundo, fans can stream every event live on Peacock and at NBCOlympics.com.
