Colts GM: Anthony Richardson to Practice Without Limitations After Injury Recovery
As the Indianapolis Colts veterans report to training camp on Wednesday, Anthony Richardson will be a full practice participant when the offense takes the field.
General manager Chris Ballard told reporters he's "not expecting any limitations right now" for Richardson following his shoulder surgery in October.
It didn't seem like there would be any restrictions on Richardson after started throwing again in February and took part in organized team activities in May.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
"Now I kind of feel like myself again," Richardson said during OTAs, "you know, throwing 60-plus (yards)."
Richardson's rookie season was frustrating because injuries kept taking him off the field. Of the four starts he made, the 22-year-old left for at least one play due to an injury. He was left a Week 2 win over the Houston Texans with a concussion that kept him out for the next game.
In Week 5 against the Tennessee Titans, Richardson suffered an AC joint sprain in the second quarter. He was originally expected to miss one to two months, but he wound up undergoing season-ending surgery on Oct. 18.
Despite Richardson's eagerness to get himself ready for the 2024 season, the Colts have been cautious with him. The Florida alum was held out of their final offseason practice on June 6 with soreness in his right shoulder.
"I've been dealing with soreness since I started throwing," he said at the time. "It's hard listening to the trainers saying, 'No, you've got to sit out for a day.' But it's part of the health journey. So, I'm just rocking with them and just listening. We're actually surprised it's been only one day like this. Luckily, it was the last day."
Expectations for the Colts offense in 2024 are being set pretty high primarily because of head coach Shane Steichen's system and how well Richardson played in it last season before the injury. He threw for 577 yards, ran for 136 yards and accounted for seven touchdowns in four starts.
The Colts missed the playoffs last season after a 23-19 loss to the Texans in Week 18. They will hold their first practice session on Thursday leading up to their preseason opener against the Denver Broncos on Aug. 11.
