NFL Rumors: 'All Quiet' on Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb Cowboys Contract Extension Talks
The Dallas Cowboys' contract negotiations with quarterback Dak Prescott and wide receiver CeeDee Lamb remain "all quiet" as training camp begins, NFL Network's Jane Slater reported.
Lamb is not reporting to camp amid his holdout for a new contract, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported.
Both Prescott and Lamb are currently set to become unrestricted free agents following the 2024 season.

The Cowboys also need to negotiate with defensive lineman Micah Parsons, who is currently under contract through 2025.
Prescott is set to play the 2024 season at a cap hit of $55.1 million, second only to the Cleveland Browns' Deshaun Watson for the highest quarterback cap hit in the NFL.
Lamb is meanwhile slated to play this fall on a team option of just under $18 million. That cap hit ranks 15th among all NFL wide receivers, an underpay for a 2024 All-Pro who led the NFL with 135 receptions last season.
Prescott is in attendance at training camp while his agent continues negotiations with the team, per ESPN.
"Day 1 of training camp, my mind flips to obviously helping my team and doing everything I can within the organization and on the football field to make sure I'm my best and everyone around me is there best and all that will take care of itself like it always has," Prescott said earlier this month.
Lamb is meanwhile set to accrue daily fines of $50,000 for every day of training camp he misses, ESPN's Todd Archer reported. Archer noted that those fines cannot be taken back by the team under the current NFL CBA.
The Dallas Morning News' Calvin Watkins recently reported that the Cowboys are prioritizing Lamb's contract negotiations over Prescott's in part because of the star wideout's ongoing holdout.
"The Cowboys want Lamb in camp, but the talks, slow as they've been, could pick up once the team arrives in California," Watkins wrote.
Cowboys camp may have begun Wednesday, but it does not sound like those talks have progressed yet. The Cowboys will need to decide what concessions would be worth bringing Lamb into the fold in Oxnard, California as quickly as possible.
