Patrick Mahomes Brought TV to Chiefs Training Camp to Play EA College Football 25
Training camp has always been a time to focus on football for Patrick Mahomes, but sometimes drastic measures need to be taken when history is made.
History, of course, being the first time EA Sports has released a college football game in more than a decade.
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback revealed he brought a television to training camp for the first time in his career this year so he could play EA Sports College Football 25 and watch the Olympics:

Opening Ceremonies for the 2024 Games in Paris are on Friday, July 26, so there will be some overlap for teams such as the Chiefs as they prepare for the upcoming campaign during training camp.
It's also hard to blame Mahomes for wanting to play the new college football game.
After all, EA Sports hasn't released a new edition of the game since the summer of 2013 with NCAA Football 14. That was before Mahomes even arrived at Texas Tech for a college career that went from 2014 to 2016.
Yet the creation of name, image and likeness opportunities for college athletes opened a pathway for the new game, and now Mahomes will have the chance to play with his Red Raiders and others during downtime at training camp.
That's as good a reason as any to bring a television.
