
Caitlin Clark Praises Fever's 'Aggressive' Play in Win vs. Brittney Griner, Mercury
Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever are finding their stride after a 95-86 win over the Phoenix Mercury on Friday.
Speaking to reporters after the game (starts at 8:45 mark), Clark praised the team's "aggressive" play to halt Phoenix's three-game winning streak.

The Mercury came into the game shorthanded with only seven players available since Diana Taurasi, Natasha Cloud, Sug Sutton and Charisma Osborne were out with injuries. Brittney Griner left the game in the second quarter with a hip injury.
Indiana was able to take advantage of the situation by scoring a season-high 95 points, including 55 in the first half. Four of the team's five starters scored at least 14 points and three players had double-doubles. Kelsey Mitchell scored 28 points on 11-of-19 shooting.
NaLyssa Smith finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Aliyah Boston 21 points, 13 rebounds and five assists.
Clark finished with 20 points, 13 assists and six rebounds in 38 minutes. She has recorded five straight double-doubles with at least 10 assists in every game during this stretch.
The rookie sensation has seven double-doubles in her last nine games after recording one in her first 15 games.
Since June 16, Clark is averaging 18.5 points on 45.3 percent shooting, 10.4 assists and 7.4 rebounds in 10 starts.
The Fever are 9-5 in their last 14 games after losing eight of nine to begin the season. They are percentage points ahead of the Chicago Sky (9-13) for the No. 7 seed in the playoffs with two games remaining before the All-Star and Olympic hiatus.
Indiana will take on the Minnesota Lynx at Target Center on Sunday at 4 p.m. ET.
