NFL Scout Hypes Chiefs RB Isiah Pacheco: 'He's a Bowling Ball, Tough as S--t'
An NFC scout had high praise for Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.
"He's a bowling ball, tough as s--t, tough to bring down and faster than he looks," the scout said, per Fowler.
Through four postseason games this spring, Pacheco rushed for 313 yards and 15 touchdowns on 81 attempts to help power the Chiefs to Super Bowl victory.

Prior to the Chiefs' victorious postseason, Pacheco recorded 935 rushing yards on 205 attempts for seven touchdowns, while adding two more receiving touchdowns, in 14 games during his second NFL regular season.
After Pacheco was ejected for throwing a punch during the Chiefs' Week 12 loss to the Green Bay Packers, Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes said he loved the running back's "fire."
"I'm sure he won't make that mistake again, but that's the stuff that we need on this team in order to have the success that we want to have," Mahomes said on Dec. 4 (h/t ESPN's Adam Teicher.)
Pacheco's energy throughout the season was evident not just in his running style but in his presence on the Chiefs' sideline, as fans got a glimpse of when Pacheco wore a mic during Kansas City's 27-24 divisional round win over the Buffalo Bills in January.
Pacheco's breakout playoff performance all but ensures he will be getting even more usage this fall, especially given how the Chiefs' offense struggled without him last season.
In Weeks 14 through 16, the three games during which Pacheco was sidelined or limited by a shoulder injury, the Chiefs went 1-2.
During those contests, Kansas City averaged just 70 rushing yards, including a season-low 43 yards on the ground during a Week 15 win over the New England Patriots.
It has become clear that Pacheco's energy has become a key part of the run game that makes Mahomes an even more dangerous passer.
Although running back depth remains a concern for the Chiefs, especially given Pacheco's missed time in 2023, it seems Kansas City has found its starting back in this former seventh-round pick.
