Fever Post Caitlin Clark Rookie of the Month Highlights After Chennedy Carter's Diss
The Indiana Fever's Caitlin Clark was named the WNBA's Rookie of the Month for May and the team shared some of her best plays that helped her collect the honor.
In nine games last month, the No. 1 overall pick averaged 17.6 points on 37.7 percent shooting along with 5.1 rebounds, 6.6 assists and 1.2 steals.

Clark's June has certainly been eventful, albeit for reasons unrelated to her performance on the court.
The 6'0" guard was on the receiving end of a flagrant foul from the Chicago Sky's Chennedy Carter in the Fever's 71-70 win last Saturday. The moment was blown far out of proportion, and some of the commentary veered into uncomfortable territory, with the foul helping to expose wider biases.
Carter, for her part, wasn't afraid to add some fuel to what's becoming a budding rivalry. She criticized Clark's game in a post on Threads, writing, "Beside three point shooting what does she bring to the table man."
The numbers speak for themselves when it comes to the rookie's abilities. She's certainly much more than a pure shooter.
But Carter's dig is exactly the kind of interpersonal drama the WNBA could use to its benefit. Teammate Angel Reese isn't afraid to embrace being an antagonist if it means drawing more attention to the league.
There's no question a lot more people will be tuning in to the Sky and Fever's next meeting on June 16.
