Jets' Aaron Rodgers Dubbed '1 of the Greatest Teammates' Ever by Valdes-Scantling
Aaron Rodgers received high praise from a wide receiver who spent four seasons catching passes from him with the Green Bay Packers.
Appearing on CBS Sports Radio's The Zach Gelb Show, Marquez Valdes-Scantling called Rodgers "one of the greatest teammates" he's ever had.

Valdes-Scantling spent the first four years of his NFL career with the Packers. He was a fifth-round pick in 2018 and emerged as a big-play receiver for Rodgers.
The 29-year-old averaged 17.5 yards per reception in 59 games with the Packers. It's the fifth-highest yards per catch average of any player in franchise history who had at least 100 receptions.
Valdes-Scantling led the league with 20.9 yards per reception and caught six touchdown passes during the 2020 season when Rodgers won his third of four MVP awards.
The praise for Rodgers comes as Valdes-Scantling is trying to find a new team. He was released by the Kansas City Chiefs on Feb. 28 after two seasons with the club.
When Gelb asked if he's been contacted by the New York Jets, Valdes-Scantling said he's talked with Rodgers but declined to get into specifics about clubs that might have interest in signing him.
New York already has one former Packer in its receiver room with Allen Lazard still on the roster after signing a four-year deal in free agency last offseason. It wouldn't be a surprise if Valdes-Scantling joined the group if Rodgers wants to make it happen.
