NFL Rumors: Tyler Boyd Linked to Chiefs, 49ers, Dolphins, More in 2024 Free Agency
Former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd remains one of the top wide receivers on the market this winter, though it appears he has not shortage of suitors.
The Kansas City Chiefs, San Francisco 49ers, Miami Dolphins, Los Angeles Chargers and Detroit Lions have "had preliminary interest" in Boyd, according to The Athletic's Mark Kaboly.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are considered a "long shot" to land Boyd, Kaboly added.

Boyd spent the first eight seasons of his career with the Bengals but hasn't been relied upon as heavily over the last few seasons following the additions of Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins.
Higgins received the franchise tag this offseason and Chase is eligible for an extension that figures to make him one of the highest-paid wide receivers in the NFL.
The Bengals don't have much room to sign Boyd to any long-term extension. Cincinnati still has $23.6 million in cap space this offseason, per OverTheCap, but it still needs to address needs on the offensive line and at defensive tackle.
Boyd would be a solid addition for any team in need of some depth out wide. He recorded back-to-back 1,000-plus yard seasons in 2018 and 2019 and is coming off a 2023 season in which he caught 67 passes for 667 yards and two touchdowns in 17 games.
The Chiefs added Marquise "Hollywood" Brown this offseason to pair alongside Justin Watson, Rashee Rice and Skyy Moore, but Boyd would be certainly be an upgrade over Watson.
The Chargers, meanwhile, could use a wide receiver after trading Keenan Allen to the Chicago Bears and releasing Mike Williams, who signed with the New York Jets as a free agent.
L.A. is left with Quentin Johnston, Joshua Palmer, Derius Davis and Simi Fehoko out wide.
The 49ers don't necessarily need a wide receiver given a roster that includes Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk. However, Aiyuk has been included in trade rumors this offseason and if he's dealt that would open up a spot for Boyd.
The Dolphins also enter 2024 with a solid wide receiver room that includes Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle and Braxton Berrios, but Boyd would be an upgrade over Berrios.
Detroit has a wide receiver room headlined by Jameson Williams and Amon-Ra St. Brown. It also includes Donovan Peoples-Jones and Kalif Raymond, so adding someone like Boyd would be a luxury.
