Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮
Diggs spent the last four-plus seasons in Seattle after a midseason trade from the Detroit Lions. He made three straight Pro Bowls from 2020 to 2022 before taking a step back in 2023.
The Seahawks released Diggs and Adams in March, jettisoning both of their starting safeties in one swoop. Seattle paid Diggs $28 million over the last two seasons.
The 31-year-old set a career high with 95 tackles in 2023 but recorded just one interception. He did not miss a single game in his four full seasons with the Seahawks.
It's a bit of a surprise that Diggs is still on the market, and it took Adams a bit to find a home in Tennessee. Wherever Diggs lands will hope his inconsistent 2023 is not a sign of decline and that he's able to extend his prime in a new setting.
Regardless, they'd be getting a player at a relative bargain given all of the notable safeties hitting the market.
Diggs and Adams were joined by Jordan Poyer, Budda Baker, Eddie Jackson, Kevin Byard and Micah Hyde among notable names at the safety position who were released this offseason.
