LeBron James Reflects On Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, Himself: 'We're True to the Game'
LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry have stretched their period of transcendence longer than any past generation.
While the trio has a combination of modern medicine and load management to thank, James believes their commitment to the game puts them over the top.
"We're true to the game," James told Michael Lee of the Washington Post. "And when you're true to the game, the game continues to give back to you."

Stephen Curry gives update on NBA retirement

Jimmy Part of Warriors' Plans
James was named a starter for a record 20th straight All-Star Game this season. Durant will be making his 14th appearance in the last 15 seasons, with the lone exception being the 2019-20 campaign he missed due to a torn Achilles. Curry has been selected to 10 of the last 11 All-Star Games.
All three stars have had their run-ins with injuries in their 30s, but they remain brilliant whenever they're on the floor. James is set to become the third player in NBA history to average 20 points per game in his age-39 season, and he became the oldest player to average 30 points per game by five years in 2021-22.
Durant and Curry remain two of the most lethal and efficient scorers the game has ever seen.
Beyond championships and accolades, the trio's consistent devotion to basketball is what's allowed them to set themselves apart.
"Those older guys didn't want to just say, 'Here, young'un, you the next one up.' You had to try to take that from them," Durant said. "I'm not going out there and relying on my name and what I've done in the past to get that respect. I respect that about the young players. They don't give a s--t about what you did in the past. It's about today. So that keeps me on point."
