Chiefs' Mecole Hardman Posts Photo of Super Bowl 58 Game Ball: 'What a Beauty'
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman posted a picture of the football from his Super Bowl-winning touchdown catch on Tuesday.
Hardman snagged a three-yard pass from Patrick Mahomes in the final seconds of overtime to give the Chiefs a 25-22 win over the San Francisco 49ers.

His catch also gave the Chiefs their third Super Bowl victory in five years.
It had been a tough year for Hardman, who left the Chiefs in free agency to sign a one-year contract with the New York Jets. However, Hardman rarely (if ever) saw the field in New York, catching just one pass over six weeks.
The former Georgia star was eventually released, and Kansas City, which Hardman called home for the first four years of his career, picked him back up.
Hardman was worked into the wideout rotation, although he only caught eight passes in his first four games. Adversity struck again, though, when Hardman suffered a thumb ailment and went on injured reserve.
He missed the team's next five games and but returned for Week 17. One game later, Hardman enjoyed a six-catch, 77-yard outing in a 13-12 win over the Los Angeles Chargers.
Then a near-disaster struck in the AFC Divisional Round vs. the Buffalo Bills, when Hardman fumbled the ball through the end zone, turning a potential touchdown (and a potential 33-24 lead) into a touchback. Teammate and tight end Travis Kelce notably took the blame after for a poor block finish on Jordan Poyer.
It didn't matter, as the Chiefs held on. But it wasn't the greatest playoff for Hardman going into the Super Bowl.
That's all changed now. Hardman had three catches for 57 yards and a score (including a 52-yard reception early on), and he's now a three-time Super Bowl winner.
