NFL Insider: 'Perception' Is Cowboys' Jerry Jones 'Is Desperate to Win' Super Bowl 59
It's been nearly 30 years since the Dallas Cowboys last won a Super Bowl, and team owner Jerry Jones is believed to be extra motivated to end that drought.
ESPN's Dan Graziano reported that this offseason will be "especially fascinating" for the Cowboys because of Jones' desperation to get the team's first Super Bowl title since 1995.
"With the help of son Stephen and his trusted front-office advisors, Jones has in recent years resisted some impulses and taken a longer-range view of the team," Graziano stated. "Right or wrong, there's an external perception that Jones is desperate to win another Super Bowl sooner rather than later."

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮
Dallas has not played in an NFC Championship game since its last Super Bowl win. After winning their second NFC East title in three years and earning the second seed in the NFC Playoffs this season, the Cowboys were disappointingly bounced from the postseason in the Wild Card Round in a blowout loss to the seventh-seeded Green Bay Packers.
Graziano noted that Jones' restlessness raises questions about the team's approach in the upcoming months.
"Will we see that desperation reflected in a hyper-aggressive Cowboys offseason? Or is it just one more thing about the Cowboys that seems truer to people on the outside than it does inside the building," Graziano stated.
