NFL Rumors: Chiefs' Jerick McKinnon Activated off IR, Super Bowl 58 Status TBD
Kansas City Chiefs running back Jerick McKinnon has been activated from injured reserve to the Chiefs' 53-man roster, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and ESPN's Adam Schefter.
McKinnon is still questionable and will likely be a game-time decision for the Chiefs' Super Bowl 58 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers, according to both reporters.
McKinnon has not suited up since the Chiefs' Dec. 17 win over the New England Patriots, missing the last three games of the regular season and all of the postseason while dealing with a groin injury.

McKinnon, who has been with the Chiefs since 2021, has recorded 60 yards and a touchdown on the ground this year but has gotten most of his production through the air, notching 192 yards and four touchdowns on 25 receptions.
In last year's Super Bowl win over the Philadelphia Eagles, McKinnon helped set up the game-winning field goal when he rushed for nine yards and took a knee near the Eagles' goal line.
Now, McKinnon is looking to get back on the field and help Kansas City bring home another championship.
