Colts' Jim Irsay Says He's 'On the Mend' After Being Hospitalized in January
Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay says he's "on the mend" after being hospitalized with a respiratory illness.
Irsay was found unresponsive in his home in December. A police report said emergency personnel arrived to his house in Carmel, Indiana, on Dec. 8 and administered Narcan, which is given to reverse the effects of a drug overdose. Paramedics "took over lifesaving measures" and took Irsay to a local hospital for recovery.

The police report called the incident an "overdose" in documents.
Irsay was hospitalized again in January, with the Colts releasing a statement saying he was dealing with a "severe respiratory illness." He had been scheduled for a Jan. 11 performance with this band, The Jim Irsay Collection, which was also canceled.
The 64-year-old had not made a public statement since the announcement. It's unclear if the January hospitalization and the one from December are linked.
Irsay has been the Colts' owner since inheriting the team from his father in 1997. He has struggled with alcohol and drug abuse, saying he has been to rehab at least 15 times to deal with his addictions.
