Former Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell Eyes NFL Comeback, Says He Will Only Play for 1 Team
Could Le'Veon Bell return to the NFL with the franchise that he started his career?
Bell spoke about a potential return to the NFL in a story post on Instagram, saying that he would begin his training in March and would make a decision about a potential return based upon how he is feeling physically.
After describing the process of how he would make the decision, he noted that he would only consider coming back for one specific team.

"I will only come back for that one team," Bell said. "Y'all know who it is."
While Bell did not say specifically which team he is referring to, it can be implied that he is speaking of the Pittsburgh Steelers given his previous comments about the organization and head coach Mike Tomlin.
Bell's visit to the Steelers facility in December 2023 was his first time back since 2017, which was his final season with the franchise. He had been with the Steelers since 2013 and had earned two All-Pro designations and been named to three Pro Bowls.
He sat out the 2018 season due to a contract dispute with the Steelers, which ended his tenure with the team on a sour note. He then bounced between the New York Jets, Baltimore Ravens, Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He has not played since 2021.
He is still just 31 years old, however, and could be a veteran addition to Pittsburgh's roster if he feels well enough and if the team has mutual interest. The Steelers have both Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren on the depth chart for 2024, but Bell could possibly serve in a depth role in an attempt to revitalize his career.
