Lamar Jackson to Be 'Even More' Involved in Ravens' Offense, John Harbaugh Says
Lamar Jackson was the catalyst in the Baltimore Ravens' successful offense this season, but head coach John Harbaugh wants him to be even more involved next year.
According to ESPN's Jamison Hensley, Harbaugh said that he wants Jackson to have a bigger role within the offense next season.
"Lamar's a driver. He's got to be involved in the setup of the car even more," Harbaugh said.

In his sixth NFL campaign this year, Jackson threw for 3,678 yards, 24 touchdowns and seven interceptions while also picking up 821 yards and five touchdowns on the ground. If Harbaugh's plans get put into action, the MVP-favorite will likely see his numbers go up next year.
According to Hensley, Jackson's bigger role in the offense would be an off-the-field one too. Harbaugh said Jackson has been discussing offensive schemes, how to approach different defenses and other offensive concepts.
"Those are things that are on his mind, and those are things that he's going to be involved with the staff talking about," Harbaugh said. "I'm excited about that. He wants to do it, and he's just into it, man."
This season, Jackson helped lead Baltimore to a league-best 13-4 regular season record and the top seed in the AFC. The Ravens' Super Bowl hopes were cut short in the AFC Championship Game against the Kansas City Chiefs when their offense fell flat, scoring just 10 points. In the loss, Jackson threw a costly interception in the end zone in the fourth quarter and his playoff record dropped to 2-4.
Now, Harbaugh is hoping a more involved Jackson can be the quarterback that leads the Ravens to their first Super Bowl since 2012.
