The most interesting story in the NBA this week involves 9-year vet Tony Snell, who's been playing in a high school gym in Maine for the last two years.
As Yahoo's Jake Fischer reported on Wednesday, Snell's trying to get back to the NBA for a specific reason.
- He needs 10 years of NBA service to get the union's premium retiree benefits, which would cover his two sons, Karter and Kenzo, who have both been diagnosed with autism
- Snell was also recently diagnosed with autism
On Inside the NBA last night, Chuck called for a team to sign him.
It's also urgent: Snell needs to be signed by a team today for 2023-24 to register as a full season.
Or ... as Kenny Smith pointed out, the league could just step in and grant him a final year of service.
