Packers Rumors: Jordan Love's Contract Incentives Revealed for 2024 NFL Playoff Run
Not only has Jordan Love positioned himself well for a lucrative long-term contract from the Green Bay Packers with his performance this season, but he can increase his earnings on his current deal based on how well they perform in the playoffs.
Per ESPN.com, Love can increase his 2024 base salary by as much as $4 million if the Packers win the Super Bowl.
The fourth-year quarterback will trigger a $500,000 escalator if the Packers beat the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC Wild Card Game on Sunday. He can add $1 million each if they win the NFC Championship Game and Super Bowl 58.

Prior to Green Bay's Week 18 game against the Chicago Bears, ESPN's Rob Demovsky noted Love had an extra $1 million at stake based on certain team- and performance-based markers.
"Love has yet another $1 million bonus if he reaches any of the following categories: 10 wins (which he won't hit), making the playoffs, or a top-10 ranking in passer rating and top 10-ranking in touchdown passes," Demovsky wrote.
While the Packers finished one win shy of 10 in the regular season, Love ranked second in the NFL with 32 touchdown passes to trigger the $1 million bonus.
Entering his first season as Green Bay's starting quarterback, Love signed a one-year extension in May to replace the fifth-year option on his rookie deal. The extension guaranteed him $13.5 million in 2024, with the potential to reach $22.5 million.
The contract was a bit odd on Love's part because the fifth-year option, which had to be exercised by May 2, would have guaranteed him $20.3 million in 2024.
The Packers will get one more year of Love on a team-friendly deal, even with some of his escalators being hit, but he's positioned himself very well to get a massive extension in the near future.
Love led Green Bay to a playoff berth with a 6-2 record over its final eight games. He threw for 2,150 yards, 18 touchdowns, one interception and completed 70.3 percent of his attempts during this stretch.
The Packers and Cowboys will renew their historic rivalry on Sunday at AT&T Stadium in the first playoff game between the two teams since January 2017.
