NFL Odds Week 15: Early Locks and Best Bets on the Schedule
As we approach the start of Week 15, the NFL playoff race is getting incredibly tight. In the AFC alone, six teams are in the wild-card hunt at 7-6. Three teams sit atop the NFC at 10-3.
The final month of the regular season promises to be an adventure, and Week 15 will feature an action-packed slate that includes a trio of Saturday games. The schedule kicks off with the Las Vegas Raiders and Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday night and ends with an important NFC showdown between the Philadelphia Eagles and Seattle Seahawks on Monday.
Let's dive into the early lines and examine a few of our favorite wagering opportunities for Week 15.

Indianapolis Colts -2.5 Versus Pittsburgh Steelers
1 of 3
The Pittsburgh Steelers are in trouble. Their offense hasn't found a rhythm after the firing of Matt Canada, and their defense has started to show concerning cracks over the past two weeks.
Pittsburgh was physically dominated by the Arizona Cardinals two weeks ago and got shocked by an early barrage from the New England Patriots on Thursday.
After losing back-to-back games to two-win teams, the Steelers head to Indianapolis to face the 7-6 Colts. They'll likely do it without Kenny Pickett, T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith. Pickett underwent ankle surgery last week, while both Watt and Highsmith are in the concussion protocol.
Have the Colts been consistently good? No, and they just lost by 20 to the Cincinnati Bengals. However, Gardner Minshew and the Colts offense should be able to get something going against a Steelers defense missing its top two pass-rushers.
The Steelers, meanwhile, appear likely to struggle offensively against any opponent at this point. Expect the Colts to stay alive with a narrow victory, while Pittsburgh takes another step toward missing the postseason.
Miami Dolphins -8 Versus New York Jets
2 of 3
The New York Jets stunned plenty of folks when they raced to a 30-6 victory over the red-hot Houston Texans on Sunday. Zach Wilson had arguably his best game as a pro, and the defense stymied Offensive Rookie of the Year front-runner C.J. Stroud throughout the contest.
It's worth noting, however, that Stroud was without standout rookie receiver Tank Dell (fractured fibula) and lost Nico Collins (calf) during the game. Stroud eventually exited himself with a concussion.
The Jets defense deserves a ton of credit, but it will have a much tougher time on the road against Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill and the Miami Dolphins this week. Miami remains one of the league's most explosive offensive teams—even it it didn't look like it during Monday's loss to the Tennessee Titans. The difference in this game should be Miami's ability to run the ball against a Jets defense not quite as stout against the run as Tennessee's.
The Dolphins played a relatively sloppy game against the Jets in their first meeting and still won by three touchdowns. Expect a cleaner game from them in Miami and another decisive AFC East victory.
Ravens and Jaguars over 44 Points
3 of 3
The points line in this one feels entirely too low, considering two of the league's best young signal-callers are involved.
Lamar Jackson just threw for 316 yards and three touchdowns against the Los Angeles Rams and will now face one of the league's worst pass defenses when the Baltimore Ravens travel to battle the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Ravens have topped 30 points in six of their past seven games and they're highly likely to do it again against Jacksonville.
The Jags, meanwhile are likely to get enough offensively from Trevor Lawrence to make this one a back-and-forth affair. Despite suffering a high-ankle sprain last Monday, Lawrence still three for 257 yards and three touchdowns—albeit with three interceptions—against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.
While the Ravens defense is quite good, teams like the Rams and Browns have recently shown that it is vulnerable. The Jaguars defense isn't good, and Jags games have topped 44 total points in each of the past four weeks and nine times in 2023.
