Waiver Wire Week 13: Stat Projections for Top Fantasy Pickups and Sleepers
Rookie wide receiver Jayden Reed is a budding fantasy stud for the Green Bay Packers and remains one of the most intriguing waiver-wire sleepers available.
A dual threat off the line and out of the backfield, he has been a steady producer over the last month.
He headlines a trio of worthy waiver wire pickups and sleepers entering Week 13, any of whom could be the difference between a pivotal win and a crushing defeat.
Pat Freiermuth, TE, Pittsburgh Steelers
1 of 3
Pat Freiermuth thrived in a Steelers offense in Week 12 against Cleveland, catching nine passes for 120 yards and finishing the week as the third-most productive at his position in fantasy.
Even if Kenny Pickett does not call his number nearly as much as he did Sunday (11 targets total), he is still clearly a target fantasy managers should consider.
Up next is Arizona, who is in the league's upper half regarding fantasy points given to opposing tight ends. They did give up two scores to Tyler Higbee and the Los Angeles Rams in Week 12, though.
Freiermuth may not go off for the same number of yards or receptions against the Cardinals but a score or two would make up for it. Even if he does not, there is no reason to believe this seemingly new and improved Steelers offense cannot exploit a bad Arizona defense, with Freiermuth again proving himself a legitimate TE1.

Jayden Reed, WR, Green Bay Packers
2 of 3
Every fantasy manager should scour the waiver wires of their leagues right now and grab up Jayden Reed if available.
The rookie has become a steady contributor to the Packers, both through the air and on the ground, a dual threat for a team that badly needed a spark on offense.
Reed has accumulated double-digit fantasy points in three consecutive games and scored in each of them. He has become an unsung hero of the Packers in the month of November, during which the team has gone 3-1 and is suddenly in the thick of the playoff hunt.
Green Bay has a tough match-up against Kansas City Chiefs and, while the defending Super Bowl champions have only allowed 12 passing touchdowns to this point in the season, eight of them have been to slot receivers.
They have given up seven touchdowns on the ground.
Reed will have opportunities to find the endzone against the Chiefs and even if he does not, should compile more than enough points to justify a place in your lineup in Week 13 and beyond.
Get in on him while you can because he is going to be a trendy pickup as his role expands.
He is available in 52 and 68 percent of Yahoo and ESPN leagues, respectively.
Stat Projections: 5 rec., 50 yds, TD, 3 rushes, 20 yds
Jeff Wilson Jr., RB, Miami Dolphins
3 of 3
With questions about De'Von Achane's availability after being inactive against the Jets in Week 12, Jeff Wilson Jr. managed 73 total yards as the backup to Raheem Mostert.
Even if Achane suits up in Week 13, Wilson is a worthy roster addition if you have a running back struggling, on the bye week, or injured.
The Dolphins offense is explosive and anyone on the field has the opportunity to break a play for big yardage or a score. Wilson as a second back or a flex play is a solid option, especially against a Washington Commanders team that is reeling after the firing of defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio and giving up 20.3 points to opposing running backs.
He is not a starter, but is a worthwhile stash and play as needed if your league allows it.
Wilson is available in 83 percent of Yahoo and 73 percent of ESPN leagues.
Stat Projections: 8 rushes, 50 yds, 4 rec., 35 yds
