College Football Week 14 Upset Watch: Best Underdog Odds to Bet
The MAC carries a reputation of being a fun, high-scoring conference, but its conference championship game on Saturday may be the opposite of that.
The Miami Ohio RedHawks and Toledo Rockets combined for 38 points in their first meeting this season and the two defenses could steal the show again on Saturday in Detroit.
Miami won close, low-scoring contests for the last month. That makes it a dangerous underdog against a Toledo team that alternated between blowout wins and close victories in recent weeks.
The UNLV Rebels reside in a different situation as an underdog in the Mountain West Championship Game.
UNLV has been stellar at home all season and it could benefit from the play inside Allegiant Stadium to bounce back from a loss and defeat the Boise State Broncos.

Miami (Ohio) played Toledo tough in the first head-to-head meeting between MAC Championship Game participants.
The RedHawks limited the Rockets to 160 passing yards and held the MAC East champion to a 4-for-15 third-down conversion rate.
Toledo ran the ball well for 158 yards, but it did not score in the second half on the RedHawks defense.
Strong defensive play has been a trademark of Miami (Ohio)'s season, as it held six of its eight MAC opponents to 16 points or fewer.
Toledo should have a hard time scoring on the RedHawks defense again, this time inside Ford Field on Saturday.
Toledo possesses the better overall record, but it has dealt with its share of close games in 2023.
The Rockets earned half of their eight MAC victories in one-possession games, including the four-point win over Miami (Ohio).
The RedHawks defense should not let the contest get out of control and that makes them one of the most trustworthy underdogs on the small Week 14 slate.
Boise State at UNLV (+2.5)

UNLV has the luxury of hosting the Mountain West Championship Game at Allegiant Stadium.
The Rebels are 5-1 inside the same home as the NFL's Las Vegas Raiders and enter Saturday in a unique spot for a conference championship participant.
UNLV is in a bounce-back spot after losing 37-31 to the San Jose State Spartans in a game that could have cost it its position in Saturday's game. The Mountain West determined the matchup through composite computer rankings.
The Boise State Broncos played their best football over the last three weeks, but they have been vulnerable on the road this season.
Four of Boise's five defeats came away from the blue turf, including conference losses to the Colorado State Rams and Fresno State Bulldogs.
Boise's three-game winning run is nice, but this is still a team that started 4-5 and fired its head coach.
The Broncos allowed over 30 points in each of their road defeats, while UNLV eclipsed the 30-point mark in nine of its 12 games.
UNLV's offense and home form could be too much for Boise to handle in one of the few conference championship games with a small point spread.
