NFL Playoff Picture 2023: Week 13 Standings, Wild Card Info and Super Bowl Odds
The top Super Bowl contenders made statements across NFL Week 12.
The Baltimore Ravens, Jacksonville Jaguars and Kansas City Chiefs all picked up impressive wins across the AFC on Sunday, while the Miami Dolphins looked like their normal dominant self on Friday.
Those four teams are separated by a half-game in the AFC standings. Baltimore holds a slight lead over the other three division leaders because it has yet to go on a bye week.
Over in the NFC, the San Francisco 49ers reaffirmed their Super Bowl favorite status with a Thursday night win over the Seattle Seahawks.
The Philadelphia Eagles showed their championship mettle with a second-straight come-from-behind win against a perennial contender from the AFC.
Philadelphia and San Francisco face off in a potential NFC Championship Game rematch in Week 13, but that contest will not alter the top of the playoff standings since the Eagles are ahead by two games.
Plenty of change could happen week by week in the wild-card races, especially in the AFC, where teams are stacked around each other from fifth to 12th.

Baltimore left Week 12 with the advantage over the rest of the AFC.
The Ravens handled their road game with the Los Angeles Chargers to move up to 9-3 before their bye week.
Lamar Jackson and Co. possess a two-game lead over the Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC North, so it will still be among the AFC's top four when they return to play in Week 14.
Baltimore will be the team to watch in the battle for home-field advantage in the AFC since it plays Jacksonville, Miami and Pittsburgh.
The Ravens could leave those contests with crucial head-to-head tiebreakers, conference wins a division title.
Baltimore and Kansas City could be locked in the standings for the rest of the season if the Ravens handle the Jaguars and Dolphins.
Kansas City has two fewer conference losses right now and five games left against AFC foes. The Chiefs could win all of those contests and hold the edge over Baltimore because of their superior AFC record.
Jacksonville and Miami are both comfortable in their respective divisions. The Jags opened up a two-game edge on the Houston Texans with their win on Sunday, while Miami got some help from the Eagles' win over the Buffalo Bills.
Buffalo will have to sit and watch the wild-card race unfold on television during its Week 13 bye.
The Bills are in trouble of making the playoffs since they face Kansas City and Dallas out of the bye. That could put them at 6-8 with no postseason hope.
Houston's home contest with the Denver Broncos is the most important Week 13 game to the AFC wild-card race. The winner of that contest will be better positioned to challenge the Browns, Steelers and Colts for a wild-card spot.

The Eagles' come-from-behind win on Sunday once again asserted them as one of the Super Bowl favorites.
The reigning NFC champion defeated Kansas City and Buffalo in consecutive weeks to become the NFL's first 10-win team.
Philadelphia will not lose first place in the NFC after its Week 13 showdown with the 49ers, who will use the trip to Philadelphia as a chance to prove where they stand in the NFC.
San Francisco sits in second place after Week 12 thanks to the Detroit Lions' stumble at home against the Green Bay Packers.
Detroit needs a bounce-back win over the New Orleans Saints to put pressure on the 49ers for the No. 2 seed.
The Saints desperately need a win in that contest since they dropped out of the NFC South lead on Sunday with a loss to the Atlanta Falcons.
New Orleans and the other five-win wild-card hopefuls will be rooting for the Cowboys to beat the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday night to open up the potential for advancement in the wild-card race.
Minnesota can be in the clear going into its Week 13 if it beats Chicago on Monday, but Seattle's spot could be vulnerable if it loses to the Cowboys and then again to the 49ers in Week 14.
