49ers vs. Seahawks Picks, Lineup Tips for Daily Fantasy DraftKings for TNF
Week 12 is set to kick off with a fantastic trio of Thursday divisional matchups. The Detroit Lions will host the Green Bay Packers, while the Dallas Cowboys will hose Washington Commanders in Thanksgiving Day games.
At night, the Seattle Seahawks will host the San Francisco 49ers in a battle for NFC West supremacy. The 7-3 49ers currently own first place in the division, but the 6-4 Seahawks can take over by winning the head-to-head matchup.
While even casual fans should enjoy the rivalry contest and its playoff implications, there's nothing wrong with turning to daily fantasy sports (DFS) to make things even more interesting.
Here, you'll find some fantasy advice for Thursday's nightcap between the Seahawks and 49ers.

General DFS Tips for TNF
1 of 3
We often favor the home team in short-week matchups, but there's a lot to like about the 49ers in this one.
For starters, Christian McCaffrey ($8.5K) is arguably the most consistent force in fantasy. He's scored at least one touchdown in nine of his 10 appearances this season, and he has a remarkably high floor against Seattle's 19th-ranked scoring defense.
Brock Purdy, who finished Week 11 with a perfect 158.3 quarterback rating, projects as another safe play. He's thrown three touchdown passes in consecutive games and at $6,100 is priced in line with other Thursday-Friday options like Tua Tagovailoa ($7.4K) and Geno Smith ($5.8K).
While Smith is typically a fine budget option for DFS games, his triceps injury does raise some concern. Being at less than 100 percent isn't ideal against a 49ers defense that has rounded into form post-bye.
However, Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll does expect Smith to play on Thursday night.
"They're taking a look at it but they pretty much know what's going on there," Carroll said on his radio show (h/t Brent Stecker of Seattle Sports). "...it's a good sign that he's functional so that's not the issue, so it's just how sore he is. He'll make it back."
Smith should be a serviceable play, but given the minor price difference, Purdy is the better one.
While Seattle's Noah Fant ($2.7K) can be viewed as a potential bargain, San Francisco's George Kittle ($5.8K) is the top tight end to roster from the Thursday-Friday slate. He's found the end zone in back-to-back games and has had no fewer than three receptions in his last four.
Trust Brandon Aiyuk
2 of 3
49ers receiver Brandon Aiyuk ($6.8K) is the second-priciest option at his position for the Thursday-Friday schedule. He's valued quite a bit lower than Miami Dolphins receiver Tyreek Hill ($8.6K), who is dealing with a hand injury and up against a solid New York Jets defense.
Aiyuk should be trusted in Week 12, more so than any wideout in the Seahawks-49ers game and maybe even more than Hill. Deebo Samuel ($5.6K) is a great running-receiving option, but Aiyuk has become Purdy's top downfield target.
In his two games since the bye, Aiyuk has caught eight passes for 211 yards and two touchdowns. He's caught no fewer than three passes in a game this season, has had no fewer than 55 yards in his past seven contests and has found the end zone in consecutive weeks.
Seahawks receivers DK Metcalf ($6.2K) and Tyler Lockett ($5.8K) are certainly worth consideration, but Aiyuk has an extremely trustworthy floor.
Consider Zach Charbonnet for Flex Value
3 of 3
While Smith is expected to play, things are murkier for Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III.
"Carroll told reporters that the team does not consider RB Kenneth Walker III to be an injured-reserve candidate at this time, but Seattle also needs to learn more about his injury before figuring out how long he will be sidelined," ESPN's Adam Schefter posted on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Due to Walker's injury, Zach Charbonnet ($6.1K) becomes RB2 for single-game action and a solid flex value for Thursday-Friday games. The rookie already provides a solid point-per-reception (PPR) floor, and he'll likely get the bulk of Seattle's backfield work against San Francisco.
Last week, Charbonnet tallied six receptions and 69 scrimmage yards. He's had 10 receptions and 131 scrimmage yards over the past two weeks.
While the 49ers' defense doesn't make for the most enticing matchup—it has allowed the eighth-fewest fantasy points to opposing RBs—a high volume should push Charbonnet into playable territory.
