Joseph Ossai: 'Means the World' to Have Support of Bengals Teammates After Penalty
Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Joseph Ossai drew a crushing penalty for a late hit on Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes in the waning moments of Sunday's AFC Championship Game, which resulted in a game-winning field goal by Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker.
Ossai was understandably emotional after his blunder played a part in costing the Bengals a trip to Super Bowl LVII, but he still had the support of his teammates.
"Means the world to me. These guys mean a lot to me. We come in every day and work hard for each other, and to know that they have my back is giving me peace right now, for sure," Ossai told reporters.
