Super Bowl 2023: Predictions and Odds for Favorites Entering Week 18
The NFL is in the throes of Week 18, the final week of the regular season, which means it's time to look ahead to Super Bowl LVII and try to break down which two teams will earn the right to play on the big stage in State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, next month.
So far, 11 teams have clinched playoff berths, which means three are up for grabs this week.
Of those teams in the wild-card race, the Green Bay Packers, who are on a four-game winning streak, have secured the best odds to win the Super Bowl.
Sitting atop the oddsmakers' leaderboard, of course, are the Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills and Philadelphia Eagles.
Not surprisingly, those are the three teams with the three best records in the league.
With just a few days left before all of the postseason participants are decided, here's the latest look at the odds and predictions for the Super Bowl favorites.

Can the Bengals Make It Back to the Super Bowl?
2 of 3
Last year was a miracle season for the Cincinnati Bengals.
After ending the 2020-21 season in the lottery with a 4-11 record, Cincy turned the tables the next year, finishing 10-7 and making it all the way to the Super Bowl, where it lost a close game (23-20) to the Los Angeles Rams.
Now it is sitting in first place in the AFC North race at 11-4 heading into Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens, who are vying to overtake the Bengals for the AFC North title.
The oddsmakers have Cincy taking the win this week over Baltimore, which would give the Bengals their second straight AFC North crown and secure a home game in the wild-card round. If the postponed Week 17 game against the Bills resumes, it would also provide the Bengals the chance to earn the No. 1 seed in the conference and a first-round bye.
Joe Burrow is having another MVP-caliber year with 4,260 passing yards, 34 passing touchdowns with 12 interceptions.
The Bengals are also the hottest team in the AFC, running the table with a seven-game winning streak, and there's no reason to think they'll be slowing that momentum now.
Cincinnati also has experience on its side, as the team will look to use last season's playoff success and the disappointment of that Super Bowl loss to its advantage.
Obviously, the odds are in the Bills and Chiefs' favor to come out of the AFC, but no one should count out the Bengals, especially when they have Burrow under center.
Will the Bills Finally Win Their 1st Super Bowl?
3 of 3
The Bills ended last season on a four-game winning streak and mounted expectations to make it to the Super Bowl.
Buffalo took care of business in the wild-card game against the Patriots with a dominant 47-17 win.
But then the Bills had to go into Arrowhead Stadium to play the Chiefs in the AFC Divisional Round. It was a wild showdown between two top-tier quarterbacks in Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes, and it was the latter who led his team to a 42-36 overtime win on an eight-yard passing touchdown to Travis Kelce in the extra period.
If only Allen had called heads on the overtime coin toss, he might have marched his team downfield for the win. However, those are the kind of experiences that help prepare a team mentally for the next time it goes on a postseason run.
On a six-game winning streak, Buffalo has looked like a well-oiled machine just in time for the playoffs. There's no telling how the team will respond after the postponement of its Week 17 game against the Bengals following the cardiac arrest suffered by Damar Hamlin, nor what its playoff seeding will be with the status of that game up in the air, but on paper the Bills roster is ready for another crack at the postseason.
The Bills get a potential tune-up this Sunday against the Patriots, who need to get the win in order to make the postseason. The game will be at Highmark Stadium, where Allen and company have only lost one game this season and, of course, where they'll be buoyed by the roar of Bills Mafia.
Vegas has Buffalo tied with Kansas City for the best chance to make it to the Super Bowl, and with good reason.
This team has all the right pieces to get there and win it.
