Fantasy Basketball 2022: Pickups and NBA Waiver-Wire Adds After December 1
The role players on the Los Angeles Clippers' roster have been forced to do more throughout the 2022-23 NBA season because of the injuries to their star players.
Reggie Jackson struggled to find his footing on the offensive end in October, but he has come into form just as the Clippers need him to help deal with the absences of Paul George, Kawhi Leonard and John Wall.
Jackson is rostered in just under half of Yahoo fantasy basketball leagues, and he could carry more value in the coming weeks once the Clippers get fully healthy.
Jackson is one of a few guards in elevated roles who can be beneficial pickups off the fantasy basketball waiver wire at the moment.
Seth Curry and Theo Maledon are intriguing adds because of injuries that have hampered the Brooklyn Nets and Charlotte Hornets. Curry's scoring can intrigue fantasy players, while Maledon has more value in the assist column.
Reggie Jackson, PG/SG, Los Angeles Clippers

Reggie Jackson has come alive on the offensive side of the floor over the last two weeks.
The Los Angeles Clippers guard scored 24 points against the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday and 15 points versus the Utah Jazz on Wednesday.
Jackson averaged 14 points and 4.8 assists per game in November. He only averaged 9.1 points and 4.3 assists in October.
He has been in double figures in the point column in six of his last eight games amid a revolving door of players in the Clippers starting lineup.
Kawhi Leonard, Paul George and John Wall have all missed time early in the season, and that has forced the Clippers to dig deep into their depth. For Jackson, that means he needs to produce more in the points and assists columns, which he has done recently.
Jackson is worth the waiver-wire pickup now for his scoring output, but he could become more valuable in other stat categories as the season goes on.
When the Clippers are at full strength, Jackson is the primary distributor for George, Leonard and others. That could lead to an increase in assists later in the season.
Théo Maledon, PG/SG, Charlotte

The Charlotte Hornets have one of the longest injury lists in the NBA.
On Monday, the Hornets took the floor without Gordon Hayward, Terry Rozier, Dennis Smith Jr. and LaMelo Ball.
Théo Maledon played the most minutes of any Charlotte player in the loss to the Boston Celtics. He had 11 points, eight assists and four rebounds.
Maledon played at least 19 minutes in five of the last seven games, whether it be as a spot starter or off the bench.
The French guard carries a bit of fantasy basketball value because of how often he has been on the floor for Charlotte recently.
He had 14 points, seven rebounds and three assists off the bench on Friday versus the Minnesota Timberwolves and then followed it up with his decent night in a starting role against Boston.
Maledon can fill in some depth at both guard positions in Yahoo fantasy leagues, and he could have extra value on certain days if he receives a spot start when Rozier can't play.
Seth Curry, PG/SG, Brooklyn

Seth Curry will be an important piece off the bench for the Brooklyn Nets.
Curry can provide the Nets with scoring depth behind Joe Harris and Royce O'Neale, and he can add numbers in other stat categories in certain games as well.
Curry has been on the floor for over 20 minutes in each of his last 10 appearances. He scored 20-plus points in three of those contests.
The scoring is still a bit sporadic for the liking of fantasy basketball players, but the minutes and scoring attempts are there for Curry.
He attempted 10 or more field goals in five of his last 10 games. He had five games with six or more three-point attempts in that stretch as well.
Curry could have an increased shot volume right now with Ben Simmons sidelined, but even when Simmons is in the rotation, Curry has been one of the Nets' go-to guys off the bench.
If Curry finds a more consistent scoring stroke soon, he could end up as one of the most wanted players on the waiver wire.
