College Football Picks Week 10: Predictions and Odds for Top 25 Schedule
The Georgia Bulldogs are the defending national champions, the No. 1-ranked team in the country and one of only six FBS programs that remains undefeated in the 2022 campaign. But they will face their biggest test of the regular season on Saturday.
A marquee SEC matchup is set to take place at Sanford Stadium, where Georgia will host Tennessee, which is now tied with Ohio State for the No. 2 spot in the AP Top 25 poll. Like the Bulldogs, the Vols are 8-0 and have been going well against tough conference competition.
The winner of the weekend matchup will likely finish first in the SEC East and secure a spot in the conference championship game, where it will likely face Alabama. The game also has College Football Playoff implications, although it's possible the Bulldogs and Vols could both wind up there at the end of the season.
Before diving deeper into that matchup (and some of the other top games set to take place this weekend), here's a look at the full Week 10 schedule for ranked teams, along with odds and picks for each.

Tennessee Will at Least Cover the Spread at Georgia
2 of 4
For most of the past decade-plus, Georgia has dominated its rivalry series with Tennessee.
The Bulldogs have won five straight matchups against the Vols, as well as 10 of the past 12. Tennessee's only wins during that stretch came in back-to-back years in 2015 and 2016.
This year, the Vols have a better team than they've had in any of those recent meetings. Because of that, they're primed to at least cover the 8.5-point spread for Saturday's game, and perhaps they'll even pull off an upset victory on the road.
Tennessee has already been tested this season and handled the challenges well. It owns wins over No. 6 Alabama and No. 15 LSU, and it also defeated Pittsburgh, Florida and Kentucky at times when each of those teams was ranked.
It's possible the Vols come up short against the Bulldogs, which have been nearly unbeatable in recent years.
But can Tennessee keep the deficit to eight or fewer points? Absolutely. And that's what it will do in what should be a thrilling game.
Alabama Should Easily Win Big at LSU
3 of 4
Georgia-Tennessee isn't the only ranked matchup in the SEC in Week 10.
No. 6 Alabama will be going on the road to take on No. 15 LSU in a game that could decide which team finishes first in the SEC West. The Crimson Tide and the Tigers (as well as Ole Miss) have 4-1 records in conference play this season.
Earlier this month, Alabama suffered its first loss when it came up just short at Tennessee, falling 52-49. The Tide bounced back in impressive fashion, though, beating Mississippi State two weeks ago to take some momentum into their Week 9 bye.
LSU also lost to Tennessee this month, but that was its second defeat, as it also dropped its season opener against Florida State. The Tigers have been playing well of late, though, having notched back-to-back wins over Florida and Ole Miss.
Still, this may end up being a lopsided contest in favor of Alabama, even though it will be on the road. The Tigers will have trouble stopping Tide junior quarterback Bryce Young, who continues to put up impressive numbers while trying to win another Heisman Trophy.
Expect Alabama to easily cover the 13-point spread and notch a dominant win at LSU.
NC State Likely to Top Wake Forest as Home Underdog
4 of 4
Wake Forest and NC State each have 2-2 records in ACC play this season and are four games back of Clemson in the Atlantic Division. Even though neither is likely to be playing for the ACC title, both teams are 6-2 on the back of solid seasons.
So, when the No. 20 Demon Deacons go on the road to face the No. 21 Wolfpack on Saturday, it should be a competitive game that could go either way.
Through seven games, Wake Forest's only loss was a double-overtime defeat against Clemson. However, the Demon Deacons lost again this past weekend, when they went on the road and fell to Louisville.
NC State's only two losses were road defeats against Clemson and Syracuse, two of the ACC's top teams. The Wolfpack beat Virginia Tech last week and will look to keep the momentum going in the coming weeks.
Even though NC State will be at home, it will be a 3.5-point underdog against Wake Forest. Because of that, it's wise to bet on the Wolfpack, which have a good chance to take down the Demon Deacons (or at least keep the game within three points).
