Fantasy Football Week 6 Rankings: Latest Position-by-Position Rundown
If the first five-plus weeks of the NFL season have taught us anything, it's that the Thursday night games should be avoided by fantasy managers at all costs.
OK, so maybe that's a tongue-in-cheek take, but yikes, it's been absolutely brutal these past few weeks. This week's collision between the Washington Commanders and Chicago Bears produced all of 289 combined passing yards and two total touchdowns—one of which went to Dante Pettis, who's rostered in approximately as many fantasy leagues as you and I.
So, yeah, if you had any exposure to that game and it wasn't related to defense, you probably need some help navigating the rest of the slate.
Luckily, we're here to provide that exact assistance with our weekly rankings at the four offensive positions and a sleeper option to consider at every spot.
Quarterback

Top 10
1. Josh Allen, BUF (at KC)
2. Lamar Jackson, BAL (at NYG)
3. Jalen Hurts, PHI (vs. DAL)
4. Kyler Murray, ARI (at SEA)
5. Patrick Mahomes, KC (vs. BUF)
6. Geno Smith, SEA (vs. ARI)
7. Tom Brady, TB (at PIT)
8. Justin Herbert, LAC (vs. DEN)
9. Joe Burrow, CIN (at NO)
10. Kirk Cousins, MIN (at MIA)
Sleeper Option: Jimmy Garoppolo, SF (at ATL)
While Garoppolo rarely goes bonkers in the box score, he typically posts solid stats, and they've been steadily trending up this season.
Since taking over for an injured Trey Lance in Week 2, Garoppolo has increased his passing yardage every week. This past Sunday, he not only threw for a season-high 253 yards, but he also had multiple touchdown passes for the first time.
With healthy and explosive playmakers around him, Garoppolo has a chance to do damage against this defense. On the season, the Falcons have allowed the 10th-most fantasy points to quarterbacks, per Yahoo.

17. Raheem Mostert, MIA (vs. MIN)
18. J.K. Dobbins, BAL (at NYG)
19. Najee Harris, PIT (vs. TB)
20. Clyde Edwards-Helaire, KC (vs. BUF)
Sleeper Option: Eno Benjamin, ARI (at SEA)
Arizona's normal starter James Conner is "expected to miss this game and perhaps additional time," per Aaron Wilson of Pro Football Network, meaning Benjamin should be in line for a heavy workload this weekend and maybe beyond it.
Benjamin hasn't had a ton of touches yet, but he has gotten good mileage out of his opportunities. He has delivered 4.5 yards per attempt and a touchdown on 30 carries and turned his 17 targets into 12 receptions for another 97 yards (8.1 per catch).
If Benjamin handles something close to a featured role, he could go off in this game. Seattle's defense has allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to the position and ranks dead last in rushing yards allowed per game at a whopping 170.2.
Wide Receiver

Top 20
1. Cooper Kupp, LAR (vs. CAR)
2. Stefon Diggs, BUF (at KC)
3. Justin Jefferson, MIN (at MIA)
4. Tyreek Hill, MIA (vs. MIN)
5. Deebo Samuel, SF (at ATL)
6. Marquise Brown, ARI (at SEA)
7. Ja'Marr Chase, CIN (at NO)
8. CeeDee Lamb, DAL (at PHI)
9. DK Metcalf, SEA (vs. ARI)
10. Mike Evans, TB (at PIT)
11. A.J. Brown, PHI (vs. DAL)
12. Jaylen Waddle, MIA (vs. MIN)
13. Courtland Sutton, DEN (at LAC)
14. Tyler Lockett, SEA (vs. ARI)
15. Mike Williams, LAC (vs. DEN)
16. Michael Pittman Jr., IND (vs. JAX)
17. Christian Kirk, JAX (at IND)
18. Chris Godwin, TB (at PIT)
19. Gabe Davis, BUF (at KC)
20. Keenan Allen, LAC (vs. DEN)
Sleeper Option: Alec Pierce, IND (vs. JAX)
The Colts and quarterback Matt Ryan are quickly learning they can't get enough of Pierce, the rookie third-rounder out of Cincinnati.
Since Pierce returned from a concussion in Week 3, his offensive involvement has perpetually increased. He received five targets in his first game back, six in his second and nine this past weekend. While he hasn't found the end zone yet, he has tallied 222 receiving yards over this stretch.
The Jaguars aren't the juiciest matchup, allowing the 12th-fewest fantasy points to receivers, but good players can produce even against tough matchups. If the last three weeks are any indication, Pierce is a good player.
Tight End
4 of 4
Top 10
1. Travis Kelce, KC (vs. BUF)
2. Mark Andrews, BAL (at NYG)
3. Zach Ertz, ARI (at SEA)
4. Tyler Higbee, LAR (vs. CAR)
5. George Kittle, SF (at ATL)
6. Dallas Goedert, PHI (vs. DAL)
7. David Njoku, CLE (vs. NE)
8. Gerald Everett, LAC (vs. DEN)
9. Kyle Pitts, ATL (vs. SF)
10. Hayden Hurst, CIN (at NO)
Sleeper Option: Will Dissly, SEA (vs. ARI)
Seattle's surprisingly potent passing attack just might have enough juice to support three fantasy-relevant pass-catchers.
While DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett are fed first, Dissly becomes a factor near the goal line. He already has three touchdown catches, which nearly matches the four produced by Metcalf and Lockett combined.
Obviously, a touchdown-dependent player like Dissly is ultimately a dart throw, but there are reasons to believe this week could be a bull's-eye. This game has major shootout potential, and the Cardinals just so happen to allow the second-most fantasy points to the position.
