Arsenal Transfer News: Gunners Confirm Wolves Loan Deal for Emmanuel Frimpong
Sky Sports reports that Arsenal have reached an agreement to loan promising young defensive midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong to the Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Frimpong will spend the rest of the campaign on loan with the Midlands outfit where he's sure to play a key part in the club's bid for Premier League survival.
The tough tackling midfielder has shown a lot of promise for Arsenal in 2011; an opportunity to play regular Premiership football could be a great move for his career development.

Frimpong should get plenty of chances to impress for Mick McCarthy's side. Wolves have taken two points from their last two fixtures, including a draw at the Emirates Stadium.
But they still find themselves only two points away from the bottom three and will be looking for all the extra quality they can get.
Frimpong will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of fellow midfield prodigy Jack Wilshere. The England youngster used a highly successful loan spell with Bolton Wanderers to catapult himself into the Arsenal first team.
Frimpong now has the chance to do the same. He will need to prove that he can retain the combative aspects of his playing style without regularly losing his discipline.
He has been guilty of being overly aggressive for Arsenal at times this season.
Playing week in and week out is the best way for Frimpong to control the wild tendencies and refine the raw edges still present in his game.
When focused and disciplined, Frimpong has shown that he can be effective at the top level. He was particularly impressive against league leaders Manchester City in the Carling Cup quarter final.
His rugged, driving style sets Frimpong apart from Arsenal's largely more technically-minded midfielders. He has the power and buccaneering energy to carry the fight to the opposition.
If he can add discipline and technique to his game, Frimpong has the potential to become a complete midfield player and a powerful presence for the Gunners in the near future.
The 19-year-old has the chance to do his parent club an immediate and huge favour. The speculation is that Frimpong could make his debut on Monday against Arsenal's closest top four rivals, Chelsea.
Frimpong has the chance to engineer a Wolves win, and in turn, protect Arsenal's top four status for another week.
Gunners fans and coaches will no doubt eagerly observe Frimpong's progress over the remainder of the season in the hopes of seeing another young star in the making.
